This month I read “Code Of Honor” by Alan Gratz. The book is about a high schooler name Kamran. He was the star of his football, he was dating a popular girl at school, he even got a nominated by one of the two representative in congress that give out nominated to go to his dream collage west point, and having the best life. After his bother Darius, a us soldier posted video of him working with the al-Qaeda, a terrorist group that is against the US. He was outcast and losing his nominated and losing all his close friends. Reporter swarmed his house and even got took him to Washington DC to interview. There he met his only ally Mickey Hagan FDI agent. Mickey help Kamran find clue and figure out hidden codes that Darius hid. After one of the clue Karman was able to find out that the al-Qaeda was in Arizona so Karman decided to escape the government building and find Darius.
My favorite part in the story is that the story uses real organizations in the story. One example like the al-Qaeda is a real terrorist group.
My favorite character is Dane. He is my favorite character because he never afraid. In page 213 Dane said “I took care of the rest of the sniper”… “three. Two more watching way, but one watching the cave”. This show is not afraid and confident because he did not stutter but instead confidently told the team. One character trait of Dane is open mined. In page 169 after Kamran hit Dane noise to escape the government building and at there van talking to Dane. Kamran said “sorry about your noise” “don’t be” Dane “Initiative is good. Sometimes it The only thing between life and death”. This show that Dane is open mined because he taught kamran thought using his mistakes
