This October I read “The phantom tollbooth” by Norton. It is about a boy name Milo going to a magical land. He travel to many places like dictionpolis, valley of sound, and many more. He is join by two companions the watchdog tock, and the over confident humbug. Along the way he met king Azaz which task him to save the two princess rhyme, and reason. The two princess rhyme and reason was banished by king Azaz and king mathemiagiciam long ago. Because of their action things start losing reason and purpose.

I like how this book because the Author try to teach young kids math, English and other school subjects though the story. This make the book unique and feel different from other books

in “ The Phantom Tollbooth” my favorite character is humbug. This is because he is alway bragging. This makes him funnier in the story. At the end he changes to a better person when he traveled with milo. One character trait of humbug is that he is overconfidence. In the story He says ”you can never catch up—so why bother? Take my advice boy, and forget about it. As my great-great-great-great-grandfather George washington”. This show that humbug is overconfidence because he show off about his family and discourage other from trying

My favorite quote is that ‘it how you look at things’. this is my favorite quote because this relates to stereotyping. Stereotyping is like learning about a group of people and developed a understanding that The group of people act only that way or are only something.

My teacher ask me to write about my perfect day it would start out with me waking up in a first class airplane to Taiwan. When I walk out of the airport the sun feels warm as a hot bath but The air is ice cold. Then we take a uber to my home in Taiwan. I would take the elevator up to the fifth floor. After a few hours I would visit old kindergarten where I would visit my old teachers. Then it will be 6am so I will go to visit my mom’s Dad. Then I would go to the night market to shop around for souvenirs for my friends. It would be bright with all the light from all the night. In one of the shop I would buy a lottery ticket. I would end the day wining the lottery of three million dollars.

If I could be any age forever I would want to be seven year old. My first reason is because life was simpler. There were a lot of field trips at school, school was easier, and time felt longer. One month then felt like a year now a year then felt like ten years now. It was also more exciting to go outside then than now my second reason is because I was able in Taiwan. Taiwan was where I lived for six years there were many great memories I had there. Unfortunately due to some Issues I was not able to visit Taiwan anymore. I would like to be seven year old forever because the issues was not there at that age. My last reason is because of heath. I was less sick when I was seven  and I felt less tired trying to go to school on time. I was able to stand colder temperature for longer periods of time. Every day the circus usually travels from town to town entertaining their audience. One day in the 1800 the circus came to a crowed city. They saw people shopping and kids running. They heard sounds of laughter, crying, singing and yelling. The streets are made from stone. The stone and wood houses were as tall as a ship’s main mast. Jason the head of the circus when to the locals where they were treated with kindness. It took Jason and his crew of 10 just 10 days to finish setting up the circus. When they were done they decided to perform the show the next day. The show start like any other show but when the juggler missed his ball the hold show came with it. The ball hit a Oil lamp causing a fire. Then the Circus animal got scared and charged right at the clowns. Which cause the clowns to hit more oil lamp. Jason thought frantically on how to put out the fire instead of putting out the fire he ran away. As every one got to safety the people confrontational about their money. Jason had to refund everybody money back. Jason when broke after the incidentJason when broke after the incident. Jason when broke after the incident and wandered the streets. Rumors say that he can be seen at night wandering the streets as a ghost in the city where his Circus burn down and where he died

If I could live in any fictional world it will be in the video game Oxygen not included. Oxygen not included Is a game about building colonies in space on a asteroids with lifeforms. eventually exploring the other asteroids for material. In the game you control a group of or a humanoid like clone you can get out of the printing pod. The printing pod is a machine that can print duplicant or anything in the game such as water, spicy tofu, coal creating critter the hatch. I would like to live in this world because I could take control of the duplicant. Then used the duplicant To farm coal by feeding the Hatch their diet of metal like cobalt go from a geyser that never ran out. Then I could creat infinite energy and using another geyser I could creat infinite water. The using water to make infinite food to create a thriving duplicant city

In September I read “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” by J.K Rowlings. “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” is a fantasy fiction set in Britain at a school name Hogwarts. It is a school for young wizard and witches to learn how to do magic, make potion and more. I was not able to finish the book but I was able to get to page 312 out of 870. “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” Is about Harry Potter starting his fifth year of Hogwarts. As the conflict develops Harry got sent to a hearing due to the use of magic out side of allowed area. Before Harry meet up with his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger and the Order of the Phoenix. The Order of the Phoenix is lead by Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, as he and the other group members plan out Harry’s case. If proven guilty Harry can get in trouble with the ministry of magic. Dumbledore was able to prove Harry’s innocence. In the rising action the return to Hogwarts was not great either. Hogwarts got a new defense against the dark arts teacher, defense against the dark arts is a class where you learn charms to protect yourself from evil. the new teacher, Professor Umbridge seems nice at first but she gave Harry detention mistaken thinking he was lying about the return of Voldmort. The punishment professor Umbridge has gave to Harry was cruel. She forcing him to write down “I shall tell no lies” with his own blood on a piece of paper with a pin that can extract blood in a painful manner. This made Harry feel Professor Umbridge was cruel, and unkind. A few day later a decision from the Ministry of Magic prohibit Dumbledore from being headmaster for teaching in a way that they do not approve. The Ministry of Magic  has now chosen Professor Umbridge as the replacement for Dumbledore. Now Harry and his friends has to face the the unkind, cruel nature of Professor Umbridge as his new headmaster along with the return of Voldemort.

One thing l love about this book is how the character felt alive and realistic in a fictional world. One example is when Harry and Ron copy Hermione’s  notes. This make the character realistic because it show that they have flaws just like any other human.

In “Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix” my favorite character is Harry. Harry is my favorite character because he mature. In the story the wizard witches use flying broomstick for travel and sports in their. In page 290 it states “what that  Weasley riding” Malfoy calling in his sneering drawl “why would anyone put a flying charm on that” harry said “ignore them”. This show that Harry is Mature because instead of getting Mad he told his Ron to ignore Malfoy’s so he does not control Ron

My favorite quote in “Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix” is when Sirius said “Imagine wasting your time and energy persecuting merpeople when there are toerags like Kreacher on the loose” I like this quote because in the story Professor Umbridge hates merpeople which are people who transform into werewolves. Sirius was stating that there is more important thing that to separate different people like catching kreacher a criminal.

The thought of my favorite meal sashimi makes my mouth water. Sashimi is raw fish severed with soy sauce and Wasabi. When you take a bite of sashimi you can feel the softness and tenderness of the fish. You can taste the fishy Unami scent with the salty soy sauce and the spicy wasabi. the taste blend in to the perfect meal. When I have sashimi my mum alway makes miso soup. It is tofu with green onion in a bowl of soup. It is delicious after a good plate of sashimi. Sometime I will even have sushi with the sashimi, sushi is sea weed on the outside and rice and other filling inside. When you bite in to sushi you can taste delicious rice with the filling sometime with mushrooms, fish, and other. In my opinion this is the best meal thank you for reading my blog have a great day

If I could live in any home I want, I would live in a house that is four story tall. I will have 100 housekeeper to work on the property. On the 4 floor there will be 2 bedroom on the with a in door pool, a jacuzzi’ a bathroom and a helicopter pad with a personal helicopter. In the bedroom there is a queen size bed next to a widow with a  night stand with a trigger to go to my safe room thought my elevator hidden behind my bookshelf. In the safe room is my gaming set up double as a safe place, build underground with 10 layer of steel, 3 layer of lead, a camera monitor, and 1000 days worth of food and water. On my 3th floor would have personal kitchen and a kitchen for my 20 chef ( I am providing food for my housekeeper, gardeners, and chefs). Also I would have a living room, a dining hall, a bathroom and my office to do work in. On the second floor there is the laundry room with 15 laundry machines 14/15 of the laundry machines is for the uniform for all the house Keeper or gardener or chefs on the job. Also a 3d printing room, a cold room for storing food and a storage room. At the first floor there is a entrance and a garage that is 3 floor under and four elevator, leaving to every single floor. With two set of stair leading to the second floor and a emergency exit with stair to every single floor. Thank you for reading my blog have a good day

 

If l can travel anywhere on earth it will be japan due to it good food, culture, and place to visit. In japan there are many delightful dishes like sashimi. It is a raw fish served with Wasabi and soy sauce my favorite in fact. Another local dish is sushi (not the ones in America) it has a seaweed outside with rice and some type of fillings. A great snack would be Taiyaki it is has a fish like appearance and have a pancake like outside with a fillings, my favorite filling is red bean. Another reason is because of their culture there are many temples and historical places in japan l will like to visit and imagine myself as ancient people as they use to live hundred of year ago. I can learn more about their architecture achievements , engineering achievements, culture, and religion. My last reason  is because of the cool places to visit there are many places to visit in japan like night market shopping center amusement parks, beaches, and more I love to explore every corner of the city. Hello my name is Brady. Welcome to my blog. Allow me to introduce myself. I am from Taiwan it off the coast of china and it an independent country. I moved here in 2019 one year before covid started. In my opinion school during the pandemic was better because we get to sleep in. In my free time I like to play video game with my friends go on YouTube or play chess. My family doesn’t really travel due to my younger brother condition that makes him super picky. If I can go to any country in the world it will be Japan do it rich history, cool high tech places, and my favorite food being sashimi and many other delicious foods. Even though I am from Taiwan I am an American citizen because my dad’s slide of my family migrated from Taiwan and got citizenship because of work.
